Seen Through a Window

I looked out of the bedroom window, gazing upon the lush green of the grass outside my garden. The garden itself couldn’t be seen. It was rather small, and so all could be seen was the field, around which all the neighbours’ houses were built. A small footpath encircled the field that stretched from the road which connected all the gates of the houses around the field. A car park at the end of the field, just off the road, was the only thing spoiling the view.
It was peaceful. Sunny, as it was July, and possibly one of the hottest summers in history. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The road was quiet, and there was the charming
